Families from Tully got hands-on experience at the STEM Makers Faire. A wide variety of tools, electronics, art, and foods were on display to educate and excite the imagination of our young makers!
The Ecology and Garden elective classes are making breakfast tacos, but not just any breakfast tacos, this is garden to table cuisine here at Tully Elementary! Students are involved in each aspect of growing and preparing delicious recipes, such as planting seeds or plant starts, watering, amending soil, composting, harvesting, feeding the chickens, and preparing and cooking the recipes. A few of the ingredients include handmade corn tortillas, eggs from our chickens, and tomatillos and onions from the garden.

Our veterans joined us for Community Time, where we recognized their service and sacrifice. Students shared heartfelt songs, and afterward we welcomed our guests to a special breakfast prepared in their honor.
