We are incredibly proud to celebrate Janet Varela, a true district legend who has been an essential part of our family for an amazing 27 years! Janet’s journey began at Richey Elementary, followed by several years at Banks. In 2010, she found her "forever home" at Tully Elementary Magnet School, where she has been inspiring our youngest learners as a Preschool Teacher for the past 15 years!

For Janet, it’s all about the connections she’s built. She enjoys being part of the Tully community and the students that she serves. Her long-standing commitment to Tully is a beautiful testament to her passion for education. When the school bell rings, Janet’s energy doesn't stop—it just switches gears! As a self-described "Uber Mom," she is a force of nature on the go, whether she's navigating the road to get her son to his next big soccer match or cheering at the top of her lungs from the sidelines of her daughter’s volleyball games. Janet loves the hustle of supporting her kids' passions, spending her free time to ensure her family stays winning on and off the court.
